This collection of paintings features five species of seabirds who nest on the islands off the coast of Maine. The pieces were inspired by a desire to spread awareness about the alarming rate at which the Gulf of Maine is warming: 95% faster than the rest of the world’s oceans.  

These pieces are dedicated to the hardworking employees of U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge, National Audubon Society’s Seabird Institute, and Friends of Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge.
